Wood Engraving Machines
Epilog Laser's co2 laser systems are growing in popularity in the woodworking industry as an increasing number of woodworkers are seeing the variety of products that can quickly and easily customize with an Epilog Laser system.
Wood engraving is one of the most popular applications for the laser because it can encompass so many different products. From cabinetry to photo frames to knife handles, Epilog's laser systems are used in almost every woodworking category you will run across.

Can I engrave all types of wood?
The laser works extremely well with all types of woods, from maple to exotic hardwoods. Each displays a different quality when engraved. While a maple plaque may give you a lighter engraving, cherry can give you very rich, dark colors where engraved. Trying out different woods can you very different effects with the same image. |

What size of wood piece can I engrave?
Laser systems range in capacity from 16" x 12" (406 x 305 mm) to 36" x 24" (914 x 610 mm). If you can fit your product in the engraving table, you can engrave your item! |

 |
Is there a lot of programming involved?
Unlike CNC machines that require extensive programming, our CO2 lasers operate more like printers. Use any graphic software you like, import your image, and print it to the laser. It's incredibly easy to set up any custom job in minutes.

How much do laser systems cost?
With prices starting at $7,995 (US Price Only) for a complete laser system, the price is relatively low for such a versatile piece of equipment. You can even lease-to-own the lasers for about $150 a month (with approved credit). That's a payment that doesn't take a lot of engraving to cover!
