Step 1: Prepare Jig
In your design software, open the file and you will see there are two parts of the file, a jig for the coasters, as well as the coaster designs. First we’re going to select the jig area of the file and print it to the Laser Dashboard, using “Selection Only”.

步骤 2:在激光仪表板中设置参数
In the Epilog dashboard, input your cutting settings for cutting out the jig on taskboard. Turn off the green job process, it will only be used for artwork guidelines for the coasters. Select the process for the red outlines, and input your settings. On an 60-watt Fusion Edge 12 we used 30% speed, 30% power, and 50% frequency. Send the job to the laser.

Step 3: Cut the Jig
At the laser, select the job and press go to start cutting the taskboard jig.

Step 4: Set Up Coasters
After removing the cut pieces of the jig, place the coasters into the jig on the laser table.

Step 5: Setup Coaster Artwork
Once the coasters are placed in the jig, set up the artwork using the green guidelines to ensure your artwork will be perfectly centered on each coaster, then send the job to the Laser Dashboard using “Selection Only”.

Step 6: Engrave Coasters
At the Laser Dashboard, select your engraving settings and send the job to the laser for engraving. On a 60 watt Fusion Edge 12, we used 100% speed, 40% power, 300 DPI, and bottom-top engraving.

Now your custom-engraved coasters are ready to go!
