Growing herb gardens is becoming a more and more popular hobby for many people - it's a fun activity that doesn't require expert gardening (or cooking) skills to enjoy. These cute signs make it easy to determine which savory herbs are growing where, and since they're labeled with chalk, they can easily be changed to identify whatever type of herbs are growing!
Since the design is made up of vector art, you can resize these signs to fit a variety of pots or even make them large enough to identify outdoor plants or flowers.
We used a 50-watt Helix with the following settings: 70% speed, 100% power for engraving and 30% speed, 80% power and 500 frequency for cutting.
Start by engraving one plank with the wood grain design. Open sc_herbs_woodgrain.cdr and send the job to the laser.
Keep the engraved plank in the laser. Open sc_herbs_cutouts.cdr and cut all the components for the signs.
Turn the main portion of the sign over and cover with chalk board spray paint. If you will be painting any portion of the signs, this is also the time to do it.
After the paint is dry, glue the pieces of the sign together and you're all set!
We'll send you a brochure, as well as engraved and cut samples created with the laser.
