Customizing kitchenware can be a fun and inexpensive engraving project. Here we'll walk you through the steps of laser engraving oil and vinegar bottles - a staple in many kitchens and restaurants around the world!
Whether you're engraving logos, names or simply labeling what's in each bottle, laser engraving oil and vinegar bottles is a fast and easy customization offering to add to your product line up!
We used a 60-watt Helix with the following settings:
Raster: Speed 100% // Power 20% // DPI 300 // Stucki Engraving
Mask your bottle with tape and Insert the material into the laser. We used masking tape because it can help dissipate heat, reduce fracturing, and produce a smoother finish on glass. If you're doing a large production run of bottles, you might considering making a jig to hold all of them in place. To learn more about creating jigs, visit our Knowledge Base.
Once you've customized your graphics, place the bottle(s) in the laser, send the job, and press GO!The laser will engrave through the tape, so once the job is finished, removed the remaining tape and you're all set.
