When these same shapes are drawn with the smart drawing tool, it creates perfect shapes for us.
Not only did the tool recognize the shapes we were trying to draw, but it also connected lines that we accidentally left separate when drawing!

The Smart Drawing tool will recognize a variety of different shapes, including all of the ones listed on the right.
If your drawing appears to be close to any of these shapes, they will be adjusted to be perfect images.

To use the Smart Drawing tool, click on the tool in the menu bar on the left side of your screen (circled in red at the right).

With the Smart Drawing tool selected, you can draw any shape you want. The tool will change the shape to one of the objects it recognizes.
In the image to the right you can see that when we drew a circle, the tool smoothed the edges into a perfect circle.

If you draw an object that the tool does not recognize, it will create a series of lines and curves from your drawing.
The new drawing will be a smoothly drawn form of your image.

One of the tools you can use to adjust the Smart Drawing tool is the Shape Recognition Level.
Using this tool, you can adjust how strictly the Smart Drawing tool will associate shapes to your drawing.

In the image to the right, you will see three different drawings. Image A is the original drawing. Image B shows how the Smart Drawing tool changes the image using the lowest level of shape recognition. The resulting shape is very similar to the object we drew.
In Image C, you can see how the highest level of shape recognition changed the same image into a perfect triangle.
You'll have to play with these settings and see which level works best for your drawing.
