Sample Club: Wooden Holiday Postcards and Nametags
It's time to send out your holiday cards and you want to do something special this year? How about wooden postcards sent through the mail. A single stamp will send these delightful postcards to all of your family and friends. Yours will definitely be a Christmas card they keep!
Or use these same designs to create holiday nametags. It's a great way for a company party to give everyone a unique way to show off their names.
Materials:
1/8" sheet of alder
Magnetic Backers
Files: Right click the file below and choose "Save target as." Open the file in CorelDraw 8 or later.
When you open snowcards.cdr, you will see six different images - five choices for the front of your card and one for the back.

Select the image you want for the front of the postcard and position the graphic in the top left corner of the page.
Engrave the image and text, then flip the card over. Change the text for the address and return address and position that image at the top left corner of the page and send it to the engraver.

Nametags:
Open the file snowtags.cdr and change the names to the names of your guests. Send the files to the engraver in combined mode so that it will engrave and cut out each name tag.

When the tags have finished cutting, remove the tag and take one of the magnetic badge fasteners and remove the backing. Attach it to your name tag, and you're done!
