This project utilizes Epilog's rotary attachment to engrave designs around each glass. The steps are fairly simple - first insert the rotary attachment, then place the glass on the attachment, manually focus, relocate the home position and send the job to the laser. Don't worry if that sounds like a lot, we'll go over each step in more detail below.
The first step is to install the rotary attachment.
Do this by first moving the table down and removing the engraving table and/or vector cutting grid.
Locate the holes on the left and center of the machine and then insert the rotary attachment into the engraving system. Make sure to plug the rotary attachment wires into the machine as pictured below. |
