These are the two files that you will download below. They are labled as file A and file B. File A is what you will engrave on a 8" x 10" plaque. We used an alder plaque for our sample.  |

The second step is to create the leaves that will be attached to the top of the plaque. These can be created on various woods (maple, walnut, etc), and work well by using any type of scrap wood you have around your shop. This file will be sent to the laser in Combined mode so that it will both engrave the details of the leaves, as well as cut them out.

When you have finished cutting out the leaves, glue them to the top of the plaque to give it a 3-D appearance. That's all there is to it!
