Golden, Colo. – (Aug. 5, 2010) Epilog Laser today announced the company received an Editor's Choice Award from MAKE Magazine at the first ever Maker Faire Detroit. This was the first year the highly-popular Maker Faire has been hosted in the Midwest, and proved to be extremely successful as it drew in a crowd of nearly 20,000 over two days.
"Epilog has always been extremely supportive of the maker/DIY community," said Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing for Epilog Laser. "They see our equipment and immediately realize all the creative things they can do with it, from prototyping to cutting pieces for projects to engraving logos and much more. We were thrilled to be a part of the show and very excited to receive an Editor's Choice Award from MAKE Magazine."

Attendees were also invited to attend educational sessions including how to make your own three-axis CNC machine and learning to solder.
Epilog will also be participating in Maker Faire New York, Sept. 25 and 26 at the New York Hall of Science.
