Epilog Laser, the leading producer of CO2 and fiber laser engraving, marking and cutting systems today announced the launch of the Laser Dashboard™, a redesigned print driver filled with new benefits for Epilog customers.
”When you’re designing a project for the laser, the print driver is your interface to the machine,” explained Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing for Epilog Laser.
“The Laser Dashboard is so easy-to-use; operators feel more comfortable using the equipment. They become more productive and confident operating our laser engraving systems.”
While Epilog’s print driver has always been user-friendly and intuitive, the latest round of enhancements have only furthered its functionality.
The new Laser Dashboard™ allows users to save and access an unlimited number of job parameters. The Dashboard database uses a standard Windows file format to store speed and power settings for all materials.
“It’s a huge help because regardless of how many different people are using the machine, the speed and power settings can be stored and pulled up as necessary,” Dean said. “Your results will always be consistent no matter who’s using the machine.”

“Users can install all the appropriate engraving and cutting speed and power settings on their machines and have them ready to go at the push of a button,” Dean said. “This is a huge time saver because users don’t need to refer to their manuals all the time – the correct settings are already right there in front of them.”
