Golden, Colo. – (Nov. 28, 2007) ) Epilog Laser, the leading producer of flying-optics based CO2 and fiber laser systems, today announced it would provide equipment for use on “Designed to Sell,” the wildly popular HGTV series that teaches sellers tips and tricks to make the move from “for sale” to “sold.”
Epilog’s Mini 24 laser system will be used in upcoming tapings to illustrate the myriad of home improvement projects the equipment can assist with.
Already shot in Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington D.C, the show is currently working on its fourth installment in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We’re extremely excited to use Epilog equipment,” said John Gidding, architect and host of “Designed to Sell."
“I’m quite familiar with their product and am really looking forward to incorporating their laser cutting technology for some of the projects we do on the shows.”
As laser technology becomes more sophisticated and more applications are discovered, the home improvement arena is becoming a greater market for laser engraving businesses.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to be working with “Designed to Sell” and HGTV,” said Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing for Epilog.
“From cutting inlays to engraving cabinets to customizing tile or marble countertops, utilizing laser engraving systems can very much be part of the home selling process.”
The show is slated to tape in Atlanta for two years, with some episodes already completed. Tapings that include laser engraving and cutting techniques will begin after January 1, 2008.
