Epilog Laser today announced Bob Henry, FiberMark product manager, will present “Laser Marking Solutions for Today’s Manufacturer” at the FABTECH 2009 Conference, Nov. 15 – 18 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. Epilog Laser is also exhibiting at FABTECH at booth #12012.
“Part marking is imperative to nearly every manufacturer,” said Henry, “I’m thrilled to be part of a track that educates them about their options and helps them learn the industrial marking methods that best suit their business.”
The 2009 FABTECH International & AWS Welding Show brings the entire metal forming, fabricating and welding industry together to form one event, allowing manufacturers to discover new products and vendors, gain invaluable knowledge, network with peers, and learn best practices from the industry's most respected experts.

Epilog will demonstrate both fiber and CO2 systems at the show, highlighting how different machines tackle different applications. The FiberMark allows manufacturers and designers to directly mark bare metals and engineered plastics, while the CO2 machines can both engrave and cut a variety of materials like acrylic, wood, plastic, rubber, fabric and more. Both types of machines are ideal for marking parts with bar codes, UID codes, logos, text, and more.
“For traceability and identification purposes, almost every industry across the board must adhere to more stringent marking standards,” Henry said. “I’m excited to educate manufacturers of the most convenient and efficient ways to meet those requirements.”
