Epilog Laser Ranks Fifth in Best Places to Work Competition
First-time nominee takes number five spot in competition conducted by Denver Business Journal & Quantum Market Research

Golden, Colo. – (Nov. 28, 2007) ) Epilog Laser, the leading producer of flying-optics based CO2 and fiber laser systems recently announced the company ranked fifth in the Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work competition.

The Best Places to Work competition examines Denver’s finest companies as determined by those who best know them: their employees. Mike Dean accepted the award on behalf of Epilog at the recent awards ceremony hosted in downtown Denver. Epilog was part of the medium-size business category.

"We seek talented prospects, find them, hire them and then get out of their way so they can do what they do best. All the wonderful people who work for us - that's who makes Epilog look good."

A first-time nominee, Epilog ranked in the top five and anticipates another nomination next year. "This is the first time we've entered the competition and I'm elated to have placed in the top five," Dean said. "We'll continue our great hiring practices and hopefully make our way to the number one spot!"

Complete anonymity was promised throughout the competition, as each company was represented by its own organization code. Individual passwords were not used, allowing each employee to complete the survey anonymously.

Questions were given a value of one to six points ranging from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree.” Winners were selected based on employee measurement of 40 attributes known to drive employee engagement. Epilog Laser scored 93.52 from a possible 100 points.
