Temari ball

Submitted by: Jonathan Liu

Description:

This is a temari ball, which is a Japanese embroidery craft. From the outside, the layers include:

  • Embroidery floss
  • Serger thread
  • Yarn Sock (for padding)
  • A mystery--something inside that you can hear when you shake the ball, plus a message (like a fortune) which you can't read without destroying the ball.
