Moveable Home Position

To make marking irregularly-shaped objects easier, the FiberMark laser utilizes Epilog's Moveable Home Position feature. Turn on the Red Dot Pointer so you can see where the laser will fire, turn off the X/Y motion controls, and move the laser by hand to the start point of your project.

You can accurately place a custom marking in only a few moments without having to measure the part.

You can also utilize the Moveable Home feature with our Center/Center marking setting in the print driver. Move the laser to the center point of your object and the laser will mark the part with that point as the center of the engraving.

Setting a new home position has never been quicker or easier. Let's say you're engraving on a custom tool that won't quite fit in the upper left corner of the work area. By moving the part out into the center of the table and setting a new home position at the upper left corner of the piece, you can rest assured your engraving will be placed accurately on your engraving piece every time.
