Epilog Laser/GeekDad Mystery Box Challenge Winner Announced
Congratulations to Maarten Vanderstoel of Fort Worth, Texas, who is the winner of the Epilog Laser/GeekDad Mystery Box Challenge! Maarten will receive a laser engraved iPod Touch from Epilog.
Though we received many amazing entries, Maarten's hand-crafted entry, which we dubbed "The Lights & Sounds Mystery Box", received the highest number of votes from both GeekDad contributors and the Epilog voting committee.
"The Mystery Box challenge really inspired me. As soon as I read the info and watched J. J. Abrams speech, I started scrounging for parts," Maarten tells us.
"I really liked how Abrams expressed his excitement about something that he couldn't see or know fully. When he said "Mystery is more important than knowledge", I began thinking more about the question mark. For my box I wanted the element of interaction to inspire the imagination of what could be inside."Click here to see a video of how the box works!
Congratulations Maarten and thanks to all who submitted a mystery box of their own!
