Sample Club: Laser Engraved Inlay Mother's Day Plaque

Don't forget, Mother's Day is around the corner and your customers will be looking for unique gifts for mom! We've designed a plaque using a simple inlay and engraved paper design that will probably be gifts for lots of our team's moms this year - don't tell!

This plaque also would work well for baby showers or mom's birthday. You can download the file and read the full instructions for creating this plaque in this month's Sample Club.

Epilog Laser Selected as Laser Provider for Project Lead the Way

Epilog Laser is proud to announce we've been selected as the exclusive laser provider for Project Lead the Way (PLTW), as part of the Pathway To Engineering (PTE) program.

Pathway To Engineering is a four-year high school sequence taught in conjunction with traditional math and science courses.

PTE’s eight courses, including Digital Electronics and Civil Engineering and Architecture, provide students with in-depth, hands-on knowledge of engineering and technology-based careers.

Through an engaging, hands-on curriculum, PLTW encourages the development of problem-solving skills, critical thinking, creative and innovative reasoning, and a love of learning.

"At Epilog, we're always looking for ways to encourage students to explore the exciting world of science and lasers," said Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing at Epilog Laser. "Project Lead the Way is an excellent way for us to partner with even more schools and encourage students to be more excited about science and how it can be fun and educational!"

Epilog is thrilled to be working with this organization and helping meet the educational needs of today's students. For more information, email sales@epiloglaser.com.

Technical Library: Material Safety Data Sheet

Part of ensuring a long life for your laser system is making sure you're engraving materials that are safe to you and your machine. While the vast majority of materials you'll be working with are safe, you do want to stay away from materials containing Hydrogen Chloride and Vinyl Chloride.

If you're unsure of the elements in the material you're working with, a Material Safety Data Sheet is what you need to make sure you're not unintentionally damaging your system.
