Barcode Laser: Engraving Barcodes with an Epilog Laser System.
Low cost solution for your barcode laser equipment
A barcode laser from Epilog is the ideal choice for marking or engraving barcodes in metal tools and parts and engineered plastic components. This barcode system has a large 24" x 12" engraving area you can barcode large parts one at a time, or load the table with a jig of parts to engrave hundreds at once.
The low cost of the fiber laser technology means you'll be paying about 30% less than the cost of a traditional YAG laser, and still receive a high-quality mark that is easier to achieve than any other barcode laser available.

You are looking for a high-quality mark.
There is no comparison to the high quality mark produced by an Epilog Laser, with engraving resolution up to 1200 dpi.
You want to use software you are already using.
The open architecture design of the FiberMark laser system allows the laser system to connect to a PC through an Ethernet or USB port just like a paper printer. You can operate the laser from almost any Windows-based software, including AutoCAD, Bartender, Adobe and CorelDRAW.
You would like the barcode engraver to be able to create multiple types of marks.
Whether you want to create an annealed mark, mirrored, polished or etched, the FiberMark can create each mark by simply adjusting the focus and frequency of the laser source.
You want to be able to etch custom barcodes and logos.
If your application requires you to engrave custom logos on parts of all sizes, the FiberMark is the right choice for you. Set up a custom logo engraving in a few minutes and engrave it on your part in a few seconds. It's the most versatile way to engrave custom items.
You need to engrave extremely small font sizes.
You can engrave fonts down to 2 pt. in size with the FiberMark - you'll need a microscope to read it, but it's possible to engrave!
You need to be able to quickly train employees to run the laser.
There is no need to learn new software with the FiberMark. The software you are using to create your barcodes right now will probably run the laser. You don't need to spend expensive time training and retraining employees on specialty software.
You want to engrave 2D, linear and data matrix barcodes.
Since the laser works like a printer, you can easily engrave 2D barcodes, Data Matrix barcodes, or tracking information on your tools and parts. If you can print the mark to paper, you can engrave it with the FiberMark.
You want to bring your expensive outsourcing of tool marking inhouse.
When you are outsourcing your tool barcoding and part marking, the expense adds up quickly. By adding a FiberMark Laser to your shop you'll be able to cut costs, and you'll find new projects for the laser that can add value to the products that you sell.
Your parts to barcode are large (up to 24" x 12" x5").
By directing the laser beam through a series of mirrors, the FiberMark has been designed to engrave a large work area of 24" x 12" (305 x 609 mm). The flying-optic design is a state-of-the-art X/Y mechanical design borne from Epilog's years of manufacturing experience in CO2 laser marking and cutting systems.
Your part will fit in a jig so you can engrave multiple parts at once.
Create a jig to place your parts and engrave hundreds of pieces at one time. The EZLoad Access door allows you to easily place your jig of parts either through the top window door or through the hinged, front-loading door of the laser system. Both of these safety-interlocked doors provide fast and efficient parts placement and removal.
Rather than using a dedicated operator to engrave one piece at a time, you can set the machine to start engraving and walk away, returning when the lasering is complete.
